Meet Our Team
Since 2004, Mark and Karen Garr have been the husband and wife team home buyers and sellers of Louisville and the surrounding area have trusted for their professional home inspections. Garr Home Inspections follows the ASHI Standards of Practice for all home inspections. Mark is a licensed home inspector and is certified in radon measurement. Karen is the office manager and attends the inspections.

Mark’s diverse background in electrical engineering provides a strong foundation of knowledge and practical experience to perform residential home inspections.
- Over 20 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Managed multi-million-dollar engineering projects
- Contractor repair auditing experience
- Six years of experience within the United States Air National Guard, with expertise in Aircraft Avionic trouble shooting
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Received two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Louisville, including an Electrical Engineering Degree from J.B. Speed School of Engineering

We strongly encourage you to attend and participate in the inspection process. This gives you a broader understanding of the actual condition of the home, an opportunity to discuss issues that may be of concern to you, and to ask questions and learn about your home.
