Mark Garr / Founder/ Owner

A diverse background in electrical engineering has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and practical experience to perform residential home inspections. My desire to provide high quality service motivated me to successfully complete Kentucky requirements to become a licensed home inspector, as well as obtaining a certification in radon measurement. Garr Home Inspections follows the ASHI Standards of Practice for all Home Inspections because ASHI has long been a leader in Home Inspection Standards.

My background includes:

• Over 20 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Managed Multi–Million Dollar Engineering Projects.
• Contractor Repair Auditing Experience.
• Six years of experience within the United States Air National Guard, with expertise in Aircraft Avionic trouble shooting.
• Exceptional Communication and Organizational Skills.
• Received two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Louisville, including an Electrical Engineering Degree from J.B. Speed School of Engineering.

InterNACHI is the world's largest inspection trade association. Based in the United States, InterNACHI is both non–profit and federally tax–exempt, and operates in 65 different countries and nine languages. InterNACHI is the inspection industry's largest provider of education and training.

The Greater Louisville Association of Realtors is a professional trade association representing more than 4,000 members involved in the real estate profession throughout the Louisville, KY area. Garr Home Inspections has Supra Key privileges and can access many homes you are interested in to provide prompt inspections on your potential new home.
